PICS OF 69 TA CONVERT BACK IN THE 90'S

3 Attachment(s)
this afternoon I uncovered one of my misplaced boxes of pics after I moved 20 years ago. this was in the mid 90's. imagine being able to go down a dragstrip today with the top down, a passenger and no helmets.
I love the look on my wifes face after a 100+ mph run down the strip.

Awesome pics of the good times .

There are rumors about you, that girl, and that car ... all in one sentence. :Peace:
Not many could live up to all that mojo in a genuine 69 TA Vert

What a beautiful car, such a statement of class, power and pride in automotive styling. Pontiac sure had their head in the game back then.

Love it! Great pics and GREAT car! 100mph is a good mph for a RAIII. You still have it?

Especially when they did mid 14's from the factory. Must have really picked up on the big end. Cool pics.

There was one of these convertibles out by me owned by a guy I know. He bought it used at the local Chevy dealer when it was about 2 years old.

ordinarily I wouldn't post, because I have nothing to contribute, but this is just too hilarious a comment to not acknowledge!

Great pics, guys. Cool to see these super rare cars in a way they'll probably never be seen again.
The show floor at MCACN is nice, but...

I saw #8 from Canada at Gilmore's last year. Caught me of guard when I saw it sitting there. Plus Mecham had two In Kissimmee a couple of years back. I keep telling my wife if I win one of those big power balls I'm buying all 8 of them .... LOL

Never heard anyone say that before
But its a hellof an idea
Go For It Man ! and good luck all the way

At least 1 of them is for sale right now
The White Deluxe 4spd that Dana Mecum owns.
I don't know the price of it now - but i think it has been shilled to over 1 millo before and no real money was on the table.

Gary, I remember that year, & you pulling the T/A convert on I35 N of 412 on the way to Ark City Pontiac drags. As I passed you, I remember, "JEEZ, he's pulling it on an open trailer". Am thinking 1999 or 2000. Maybe '01, '01 was the year, it was quite cool & Jim Hand & several others ran their best times to date. Cool car!

lol I never gave a crap how nice or how rare. they were meant to be driven and driven hard. they didn't put those engines in them to put around.
the year was 1995
