I'm sorry for your loss. I still miss my mom after 20 years, but mostly remember the good times with her. Offering prayers for you and your family.

Sorry for your loss.
Your post will hopefully make others think about doing something for their parents while they are still here. A hug is a very good idea. A lot of people take their parents for granted. No respect anymore. A simple hug will do wonders for both of you. Take time to talk to them and show your Love and appreciation before it's too late. Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using Tapatalk |
Sorry for your loss. Mine passed a little over a year ago and due to Covid restrictions, I couldn't go in the building to be with her.
Hugs are good. |
I lost my mother in November of 2020, fortunately I was able to be in the hospital, and Hospice with her. Let them know you care about them by all means, no one is on this earth forever.
You never know when the person will be called home, so put aside all the petty things you've argued about in the past, stay on good terms with your kids, and your parents. The last thing I wanted is to not be able to say good bye because of an argument over something insignificant that happened previously. Being right in a disagreement, is so small in the grand scheme of things, not worth the effort to hold a grudge, just let go of it. 72Pontiac, prayers sent. |
Rest in Peace and my sympathy to you. Your message of nothing for granted rides on Bob's, and thanks for it. True............

Condolences. My mom died in 2007. I still, out of habit, start to pick up the phone to call her on Sunday morning. :-(

Sorry for your loss.

Prayers for peace.
I fear that I will be experiencing the same thing in the very near future. My mom is has lost function of her dominant side, is not ambulatory and in skilled nursing care, which was quarantined again last week for a positive test from one of the staff. Really sucks that the family/residents pay for the staff's mistakes. |
Prayers sent for you and all those affected by this sad event. I lost my mother almost 40 years ago and my father passed two years later. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them.
|
Sorry to hear this
|
My condolences to you and your family.
My mom passed in May of 2007. It is strange when you lose the one that brought you into this world, taught you so much, kept you straight for all those years, and helped you when you needed it the most. I leaves a big hole in your life. |
Good mothers are like good dogs, they emit an endless supply of unconditional love.

When I got home today my 87 year old mother was at my house. She was there to bring birthday gifts to her 3 great grand children who were at my house for the afternoon. I did give her a couple of hugs before she left.
I'm sorry for your loss of your mother. I dread the day that I may experience the same. |
Always gave my mom a hug and in her old age called her maw. This day I gave I gave her a kiss on fore head. She passed away the next day. Her graduation pic 1942 sits on my kitchen counter for me to see everyday. She was the greatest. There's something about boys and their moms.

Prayers for you and your family!

Thinking of you still, with thoughts for your mother.
Momma was 42 when I was born. I never had the time I wished with her. She passed at 77 when I was 36. Hug your Moms! |
Sorry for your loss. We lost my mom end of June, and my wife lost her dad about 3 weeks later.
|
So sorry for your loss - Prayers sent
I lost mom September 11, 2020 |
They just extended the quarantine in my mother's nursing home due to a resident testing positive after a kitchen staff member tested positive last week. She is not taking it well, after quarantining all last year. I had promised her a ride in my GTO when it's done, but at this rate, it doesn't look like that will happen.
