Looking for a needle in a haystack...what have you?

I know everyone will tell me not to hold my breath, and I get it, these have been on backorder for a very long time. But, I talked to the guy at RARE two days ago and he said he was very confident that they will have them in about 6 weeks. They have 300 left side on the shelf and are waiting on the right side. I have a set on order. We'll see.

I talked to Paul also,seemed like he wont be ready to ship till closer to September?He should have the casting to get machined in 6 weeks or so.Tom

That's different than what he told me. But, whatever, they'll be ready when they're ready. At least it sounds like it could be soon. LOL.

Will take awhile to machine 300 iron exhaust manifolds!

He had 300 D port manifolds, or 300 or round port?

D port 2.5 inch, was what I understood.

Don’t hold your breath. I was told in Sept. 22 that they would be ready Jan 23. I called in Feb and was told April. I got on the list around #245. I talked to an engine builder who also had the same delayed info but from earlier in 22. I heard also that the foundry wants atleast 1000 orders to begin production. So take this for what it’s worth, I sourced another set to get my engine off the build moving towards completion. Sounds like we’re being stringed along.

I spoke to him 2 weeks ago. I got put under the impression it was gonna be soon. I've had a round port set on order since Sept of 21 and D ports on order since Sept of 22. FINGERS CROSSED!

I got a message in last 2 days about some are in the states. They were D ports, Im not sure if stock or 2.5 though, will try to find that ad.

they are cast in china now? not surprised just thought they were cast in the states?

So what gives here? Theres an Ebay listing in Prescott Arizona for second gen round ports? Pont5681 I think was his handle. And it says he still had 5 more available? Now on Pauls website it says the D ports are here? I was supposed to get a phone call when they were ready, he told me that over and over. Did he sell them for more profit? I would not have minded an increase of course. I wanted to give my money to him. Not so sure now. I'm gonna call him tomorrow.

I received a set of round ports today. They are RARE's. I sent the money to Arizona but were shipped from Illinois where RARE is located. I don't know whats going on but I now only need a set of D ports.

Just got round port set today also, although mine were shipped from Arizona. They show D-Port's in stock, has anyone received any of those ones yet?

Anyone have an update on this? The phone number listed on RARE's website now results in a message: "this number is no longer in service".
Sigh. I last talked to the guy about two weeks ago and still got the song and dance.
I've NEVER received an email response from them after sending multiple emails over the past two years.

Just received my set from RARE last week. After calling monthly for about a year and a half. I guess the squeaky wheel really does get the grease!
And they shipped from AZ. Look beautiful!

Did you contact RARE? They shipped mine a couple of months ago. Sounded like they had a lot of them in the pipeline finally.

Am I the only one having issues ordering on their webside? The phone number says to send and email which I did. When I try to order online I cant get the cart to move past shipping.

No you are not the only one, I did too and had trouble. I emailed him several times and never got a response. I just got my G ports the other day after ordering in 2022. You just gotta keep calling and calling and have your credit card ready.
