Tom S' new kicker!

Please wish member Tom S a quick and easy recovery. He had a brand new, shiny knee installed today. It was either that, or convert all of his cars to automatic.

Scarebird 09-14-2023 05:51 PM

Good luck, Tom.

Keith Seymore 09-14-2023 06:53 PM

Sounds like he made the best choice.

Get well soon Tom.

Brother in Law had a knee replaced. Once he was thru the recovery stage,
he was back to playing golf again. He always used a golf cart even before the surgery.
Heal fast Tom.

As active as Tom is, bet he flys through Rehab & is back power shifting his Pontiacs before Thanksgiving.

carbking 09-15-2023 08:43 AM

Did you go with "new old stock" or modern replacement?;)

Perhaps you can have the therapists rig up a clutch petal for therapy!;)

Hope you heal quickly!:)

Yeah but my model X runs 10 flat and the model S runs 9.17. Stock . Hard to argue w that. And Tom
Won’t hav ego shift. Although he’s bionic now so maybe that doesn’t matter anymore.
Does anyone know if he muttered” I'll be back” yet?

I hear that’s a tell tale sign . Kinda like
A witness mark. :-) He can probably now link up to the network
If he changes the drivetrain. Although maybe he won’t need a car at all he’ll just run the 1/4 mile really freaking fast.!

Hope you’re feeling better buddy. Just trying to make you smile a little. You’ll be fishing in no time !

tom s 09-16-2023 09:21 PM

At almost 80 I can give a tinkers damn how fast my car is!
