New Ram Air and HO Exhaust Manifolds!
 

Ames Performance is proud to announce that Ram Air manifolds will be available again soon! Much has changed in recent years with regard to availability and quality of cast iron Ram Air manifold for many popular classic Pontiacs. With that, we have elected to manufacture our own, exclusive castings for 1967 HO/RA(also fitting 1964-66 GTO/LeMans & Tempest V8), 1968-72 RA/H.O. D-Ports and 70-81 Firebird/TransAm D-Port applications. Many hours have been logged at our facility during this period to ensure fit, function and the most authentic pieces are offered to the Pontiac enthusiast. Currently, price has yet to be determined however, these will be as competitively priced as is feasible without sacrificing a degree of quality or character. Round port manifolds will also be pursued in the near future.

We're planning on seeing them on the floor within 60 days.

We've had a couple of hold ups but manufacturing is underway. We are looking at 45-60 days currently.

Any updates?

One side of the D port manifolds has been received; we're currently waiting on the other which should be within 4 weeks. Round port manifolds are in stock and ready to ship.

Any chance you’ll be considering correct Long branch also?

I put a set of your stock reproductin manifolds on my 66 GTO and was very impressed with the quality.

We are working on that possibility. I do not have any solid answers at this time.

if you have not heard yet, our 2.5" collector Ram Air and HO manifolds are now available for 67-72 A-body and 70-81 F-body.

Are these both 3 bolts like RARE does?

If you are talking about the flange, we have them available in the early style with both flanges being 3 bolt as well as the late style with a 2 bolt and 3 bolt.

When do you expect these to be back in stock for 70-81 Firebird?

I have a sweet of these on my 70, and they fit and look excellent.

I'll be in the market for another set when they're available again.

anything available for long branch round or d port currently?

We are hoping to have these available again sometime in the future, sadly at this time we do not have any exact answers or a timeline. Please keep posted. We'll make sure to post updates when we have confirmation.

Would any of these fit a 1976 Grand Prix.

Looks like a 67 GP to me. I thought long branch manifolds were made for full size cars and also fit 1st gen Firebirds.

got 2 Pontiacs , that 67 Bonneville has Doug's and a 3 inch system , , but am looking for information on header exhaust for my 76 GP..

The GP has a 350 with a single pipe..
I cant see anyone making headers to suit as I would like to do a 455 swap in the future.

I received my 70 -81 D port exhaust manifolds yesterday. Good looking castings and nice machine work. They're not on the car yet but I'm very happy with what I see.
