My black licence plates.

Thinking an engine run stand or an inflatable paint booth. Have an engine I'd like to work out before installation and also plan on spraying the 67 GTO by early spring and another car later next year.

I almost bought a combination gift for myself - and 2 nephews 1 niece - yesterday/today.
But talked myself out of doing it.
Tractor Supply Co. put a mini-Willys Army Jeep Go Cart on sale from 2700 to 2000 for Black Friday.
I went and looked at one in person Sunday.
Today it dropped another 200 if purchased online. $1800
Had to fight temptation all day

Really cool go cart with 125cc "Honda-Copy" motorcycle engine with 3spd semi-automatic and reverse.
Electric start , posi axle, hydra disc brake , led lights etc..
Spare tire and spare gas can mounted on the back. Coil spring shocks.
25-30mph : stock

haha so cool - hopefully it doesn't have the same Tao Tao knock-off chineez 125 the boy's ATV has...nothing but trouble starting :(

Once it does start however, there is no stopping him!

Baron Von Zeppelin 12-02-2025 02:59 PM

The reviews on them from the past 3 years don't mention any engine problems.

Main complaints were :
ALL the nuts and bolts need to be checked for proper tightness before any use.
Nerds were going full steam ahead without checking anything and having various failures from loose bolts caught too late.

Drivetrain and Suspension are more robust than the Chassis.
Too much off-road type whamming and banging WILL create frame cracks.

Drive chain from engine to axle is quite long.
Has a spring loaded chain tensioner mid-ship underneath that can suffer abuse when bottoming out over peaks or rougher terrain.

Adults could moderate level of abuse and be fine.
Kids will want to beat the hell out of them like a disposable toy / real jeep.

I still Want one, but don't Need one.
Would rather get the kids into dirt bikes with the money this spring.
They already have a little Honda crf 50cc

kingbuzzo 12-03-2025 01:08 PM

Carb issues more than anything for me but if you have the reviews that is something.

Will be fun either way I'm sure.

johnta1 12-03-2025 03:52 PM

Just yesterday I think I saw one, at least it looked like that.
A guy (not a kid) was driving down the road in our community.
(lots of golf carts here)

If I were in a golf cart community/scenario I would definitely get one..
In the review section most of the shared pictures and videos are of adults driving them around with dogs or kids in them.

sdbob 12-04-2025 09:55 AM

The months I've been going through immunotherapy, approximately 6 takes about 5 hrs each one,for lymphoma. I had my last treatment about 3 weeks ago. I'm sitting at Hillman Arnie Palmer complex in Greensburg, Pa. Now waiting to get a PET scan done to see if treatments have worked. This complex is about
4 miles from my home. I see Lymphoma
specialist next week at Hillman Shadyside to get
final determination. Last time I was there about
2 months ago Dr seemed happy with my blood
work. Soooooo. I bought a new Lionel o gauge Santa Fe J 2-10-4 steam engine with all the bells, whistles, steam exits, smoke. It's the one steam engine I do not have.im into PRR and Santa Fe.

Well, I got my wish, sort of. The colonoscopy only revealed one polyp and it hadn't turned bad, but my doctor said it would have soon.
I got home and laid down for a while. About lunch time I got the urge to pee but couldn't. I tried drinking fluids but still couldn't go. I called my Dr. back about 3:30 but the office closed at one. The answering service paged him and he called me right back.
He told me to soak in a warm bath for a couple hours and if that didn't help go to the ER and get a catheter put in.
If you have never had a catheter inserted I pray you never have to! The only pain that compared to it was the pain from my bladder.
When the catheter finally got to my bladder the relief was immediate.
But, lab reports showed I had an Urinary tract infection too.
So, after two days of hell and heaven I am laying here with a tube in me and emptying a bag every 6 hours.
I was told that my prostate probably squeezed the urethra shut causing my problem.
I released 1900ccs of liquid before they let me go home. They also said I was very close to having my bladder burst.
I have to make an appointment with my Urologist in the morning, I hope the catheter doesn't hurt as much coming out!!

Whoa you really toed the line brother !
Hope everything straightens out real soon .

I don't have any advice on catheter , but my youngest brother pulled one out himself after 2 days.
Be as tough as you can man .

tempest1964 12-08-2025 10:29 AM

A catheter has a balloon like device on the end. It is inflated After insertion. This keeps the catheter from slipping out. When it is deflated and removed you will feel immediate relief and it typically doesn’t hurt. If someone pulls one out while the balloon is still inflated, serious damage can occur.

Due to the average age of us on this board, this is something that hits home with many of us. As a cancer survivor myself, I know of the anxiety waiting for the results. I’m wishing the best for you.

Appointment Hillman Shadyside at 9.45 today results. Dr Ho said' No noticeable mass, you are in remission see you in 6 mos'! Gift from God for Christmas that's for sure. The nurses were hugging me. Great news!!!!

sdbob 12-12-2025 09:46 PM

It sure has been a 'trip'. My wife suddenly passing 4 yrs ago then 3 1/2 yrs ago this lymphoma diagnosis. Then Dr watching the mass. Then this spring the treatments started. I'm humbled that it's worked the way it has, Prayers, Gods Providence. Thank you.

fyrffytr1 12-13-2025 11:27 PM

I got the catheter out last Wednesday. No problems. I didn't even have any pain or burning while relieving myself. The doctor put me on Flowmax to help, but I think the pharmacy messed up and gave me Gomax instead! I can set my watch by my bathroom visits. Every hour while I am awake, but I don't get up during the night to go. I have a follow up with my Urologist in January and will go from there.
I am glad the other old goats on here are doing well and hope you continue to do so.
With that being said, I really don't want or need anything. My wife keeps asking me what I want so I told her I would like a new trail cam to get pictures of the deer and other critters that visit our backyard.

Baron Von Zeppelin 12-17-2025 12:17 AM

Was at Tractor Supply today and they had one of those Jeep Go Carts in Desert Sand color.
Marked down to $1699 . Even lower than Black Friday/ Cyber Monday prices.

Parked outside the door and a lot of people were checking it out.
If I had a need for one besides just clowning around it , I might would pull the trigger.

fyrffytr1 12-17-2025 11:48 PM

My Doctor called me yesterday morning to go over my test results. He gave me a 3 year extended warranty on my colon and a limited lifetime warranty on my carotid arteries. But, h e told me my problem with the anesthesia was caused by my prostate being enlarged. So, I will meet with my urologist in mid January to see what we can do about that.

Baron Von Zeppelin 12-18-2025 12:40 AM

Those extended warranties are well worth it on older equipment .
Very best wishes to you fyrffytr1. !

sdbob 12-18-2025 08:46 AM

I'll keep you members in my daily prayers. Prayers for Gods Will do work.
