Crankshaft # ID

Tearing down a '69 250 Sprint and came across a number I am not sure of.
It's either 3878802 or 9878802 I don't have anything on my list for this one.
Any help identifying greatly appreciated.

Not able to answer your question but it does raise another.

Check and see if the 69 Sprint Rods are "special" or not. Do they look like all the other rods that our OHC's use or are they different? Pics?

whew,

Thanks I was beginning to think it was a Chebby crank swap.

FYI;
Rods are no different the any of the others I have on hand.

Almost looks like the only difference between the 1bbl and 4 bbl crank is more holes drilled into the 4bbl cranks counterweights.

How do the journals look will the crank need any machine work or just a polish?

that will vary from one crank to the next
only part of rotating assembly that differs from 1 to 4bbl was the damper and bearings

Just discovered the crankshaft in my '68 casting date 250 is also 3876802. A quick online search seems to indicate this is a Chevy crank. Is this in fact a correct/original Pontiac part/part number, shared with Chevy I6 engines?

OHC CRANKSHAFT NUMBERS I HAVE ON FILE;

9782279 ‘66-67-230
9790154 ‘68-69-250
3876802 ’69-250

Thanks, Jeff. I had seen the first two listed online, but not the third number, so thanks for confirming.
