Anyone going to the Nutmeg POCI show this Sunday, the 28th??
The Nutmeg Chapter POCI Fall Show at Barberino Brothers new car dealership on Route 5 in Wallingford, CT on Sunday, September 28. I attended last year, had a great time and its a nice show with a lot of Pontiacs. Who out here is going? I will be there with the GTO weather permitting and hope this nice weather holds up.

I have a feeling it'll be pushed back to the rain date.:rain::(

Yeah, weather looks iffy. The rain date is bad for me as thats my clubs POCI show in Nanuet NY. Anyone know who to call that morning to see if the show is still on?
|
Mark,
You can call one of these three individuals: Mike O'Neil (203) 266-7089 Jack White (860) 526-9748 Jim Mascia (203) 269-9091 Jim |

I spoke to Mike, one of the club directors today and he said to call this # 203 266 7089 on Sunday morning and there will be a recording if the show is a go or no. He also said they will try to update the website with a show go or no as well.
|
Mark, thanks for getting us that info.
|
Its 8AM and I called the #, the show is on but its raining here in Danbury and looks like I'm staying home. Oh well.

Radar looks pretty good to me. I'm just waiting for the roads to dry out a little. My son and I will be heading up in the Bonneville in a little while.
I don't blame you for not taking a super clean car like yours Mark. It'd be a bitch getting all of that road grime off.:gag: I'm sure the numbers will be down some but turnout should still be decent. |
Jeremy, how was the show? Turnout decent? It drizzled on and off around Danbury all day. Sun peeked out for a while too but it never dried out.
Hope the weather is decent for the Garden State POCI show next in Nanuet NY on October 5th. |
Turnout was definitely down. The weather was fine up there though.
My son, Erik, was happy though- we won door prizes and took our tallest trophy yet. The Bonnie took 1st in Semi-modified Pontiac.:first: I'll post some pics when I have some time. |

Paul Menin's incredible '64. Most Pontiac guys in the North East know and his amazing collection of gorgeous GTOs. '57 Safari. When was the last time you saw one? '67 Lemans Sprint 4 speed convertible! When was the last time...;) The boy checking out a Bandit. |
Jeremy,
Was that Jeff Brown's Bandit? |
I don't recall the owners name, it had MA plates on it though.
