Rally 2 lug nuts
 

How about some look alike of the black center/ red center lug nuts that have a bigger conical end on them to fit the old steel rims that have the lug holes worn out. When the lug nut is new and the rim is new there still wasn't alot of surface area between the nut and the rim. A little wear and the lug nut comes close to pulling through the rim. A little more surface area would be nice and still keep a stock look.

this would sure beat using washers!
