MOPAR / 'cuda version of this forum?

My son has decided that he wants to buy and restore and old 'cuda to roll with me and my Firebird.

What online forum is equivalent to this one for late 60's/early 70s 'cudas?

Thanks!

The Barracuda was first an A body, then an E body beginning in 1970. www.forabodiesonly and www.forebodiesonly are dedicated to those cars.
If buying or restoring one of those, the 1970 and '71 require very deep pockets and are among the most expensive muscle cars to restore.
Just tell him not to expect a good riding or handling car. They suck.

Cuda-Challenger.com is a way better forum than Moparts.com. The people are way better & the owner of Moparts has no integrity what so ever, he takes bribes to delete negative feedback about sellers/service providers. I used to be on there & got banned for calling him out about it.

X2 on www.Moparts.com '70 and up are big $$ I recently had a '72 340 4spd I got for 18k and a guy offered me 25k. Didn't want to sell but I did. Found out he sold it a year later for 37K

Thanks for the other suggestion!

Yeah he wants a 1970+. Nothing fancy tho, just looking for a roller with a fairly rust free body and a black interior, no white. We will do any body filler and block sanding and leave it in black primer like my 69 Firebird. Restore any worn parts in the interior, and I'll probably start him out with a 318/automatic then work up from there as the years go by, he is only 17 right now.

By no means are we looking for anything correct or numbers matching, nor will we be doing a restoration. It will be more of a custom/resto-mod.

Thanks! Alex

Man, your boy has great taste! E body Mopars are one of the coolest muscle cars around.

I've been looking for a good E body to screw around with, but even cars rotted beyond repair are pulling in some massive money now.

Thanks! After posting on the E body forums and seeing the market and what's out there, I'm going to save about $7K for the best roller I can find. I'm in no hurry and don't have that much saved yet so over the next several months I'll be waiting for the right one for the right price.

Thanks guys, C-C has been where I've been posting some. Moparts.org, I registered and I read but don't post yet.

Thanks for the tip on E-bodies.org, I'll check that out too.

Alex
