Tribal Tri-Y Headers Ceramic Coated. '70~'73 Trans Am Round Port 1 3/4"

5 Attachment(s)
This is a set of new 1 3/4" diameter ceramic coated Tribal Tri-Y headers for '70 ~'81 Trans Am's with round port Poncho power plant.

Even though they are new, they have been mounted on an engine during a dyno run in View Texas. We compared this set of Tribal Tri Y's to 2" Hooker Supercomps headers and RAM AIR reproduction OEM exhaust manifolds.

Engine set up was a warmed over but stock appearing and stock carbureted '72 455HO which made 460 HP and 535 ft. lbs. torque. <-- Thank you Jim Robertson for building an awesome power plant.

The pulls were made with identical engine settings, and each header set test resulted in very similar power and torque results. Not enough difference to say one header set stood out over the other, including the RAM AIR manifolds. This lent us to believe the intake flow (Rochester 7042270) was the limiting factor for making power and not the exhaust flow.

The Tribal Tri-Y's have claim to be the best header for road clearance, tucking under the chassis very nicely.

$650.

If interested, I can deliver these to POCI in Fort Worth Texas Motor Speedway July 12 - 15.
