Whats a Perfect Original 69 TA Hood Worth These Days
Got lucky this weekend and picked up a near perfect original 69 TA hood with scoops and tubes. What are they bringing these days?

What someone is willing to pay. High is 10 grand with all the pans. Low would be around 3500.00 is my guess.
|
Several have sold without the tubes in the 6-mid 7's range lately. The 10k number did not include the pans or tubes (from what I know of the deal) but was at the peak several years ago.
I would say you got lucky - post a picture. |
I'll post some pics tonight after work.

so what did you have to pay for it?

Nice find!!! Still can't believe people don't put that kinda stuff on ebay on one of these forums. What are your plans for it?

I think one on ebay just sold for 6k which I thought was good money.

with the repros out(and the economy) the prices have fallen.
I say if you paid about what the repros go for you got a killer deal. |

I believe the last count of original TA's on the road 2009 (or close to it) was 120. The TA registry site link is gone.

I know the registry no longer works but is it still out there somewhere ? I remember taking a look at it a few years ago, but can't remember if the VINs were there to be seen. Maybe the 120 count is the quantity that was on the registry ? If that is so, I'm sure there are a lot more, it's not every car guy (let alone 69 T/A guys) that is on internet...

What about the T/A registry? Who ran\runs it and how do we keep it alive?
