63 Lemans for sale in Colorado
4 Attachment(s)
I have a Cameo Ivory 63 with a gold interior. Has factory air, power steering, power brakes and a console. 326 has been replaced with a 400. The engine is equipped with a mild Lunati hydraulic cam, RA3 exhaust manifolds and mildly ported 46s.I have installed new carpet, new front end components, brakes and brake hoses, I have an extra hood and a few small parts some are nos. The hood is straight and in primer. I have attached a few pictures but my interior pics did not come over from my phone. This is a great and fun driver. Thanks for looking. Asking 10k.
Damn, how do you rotate the pictures? |
What rear end and trans does the car have?
|
Same question as 61-63 what rear end and trans. The original transaxle?

fasteddy you have a pm
|
My guess original rear. He mentioned shifter console so that would most likely be automatic transaxle ? Car is real cool. Wish I bought this rather than one I am currently doing.
|
Sorry for the slow response. Yes, the car retains the original driveline. Thanks for the kind comments.
|
How long have you owned the car and is there any rust?
Thanks, SD |
I have had it for 16 years. No rust. Single stage urethane paint. Tires are like new. Everything works but the gas gage (reads half when full).
|
cool car.

Yeah, I PM’ed the day the ad was posted, but haven’t heard back since Monday. Life gets busy though I know.

Somebody go look at this car for me! I like it.
|
He is half way between Denver and Ft. Collins. I called him and asked him questions at length about the car and seriously considered buying it and selling the '63 Tempest coupe project car I have, to turn into a 421sd car. I decided not to since my project car has a 4 link coil over 9" Ford rear end in it and his car would need the original transaxle removed and a straight axle rear end installed. I have not seen the car but based upon my conversation with him that is a very nice car and were I looking for a nice '63 Lemans with an original drive train I would have been to his house by now and be back at my place with that car.

Thanks for all responses. I have been fighting pneumonia for the last 2 weeks. I am sorry for my delayed responses.
|
Jeez, don’t kill yourself. Just give me a call when it’s convenient. Hope ya feel better.
|
Hope you’re doing OK.
So, do you still have it for sale? |
I am feeling better and doing some things. I am trying to get a few small things corrected on the car. I took the door panel off and half the hardware/retainers broke away. Trying to figure that out. Still for sale but I need to get the door panel back on.
