The Charlotte Autofair and Englishtown Swapmeet had a good turnout and our staff was kept busy from dawn until dusk. We are happy that so many of you were able to visit our spaces at the first two shows of the season and that so many of you took advantage of the 5% off coupon we offered. We'd like to thank everyone for their compliments on our new trailer and all the new displays. We have two restocked trailers out there now and a full crew of PY staff members ready to help with your orders and tech questions. As you can see from the forecast on the right, the forecasters are predicting warm weather and sunny skies for this weekend (but we all know to never count on their predictions 100%). It looks like this to be a great event. Over the years, our previous show trailer has made the trek to car shows all across the United States. But as more and more reproduction parts became available, that trailer had increasing difficulty fitting everything we wanted to stock at the shows.     This Winter Performance Years made the decision to purchase and outfit a brand new trailer. The trailer we chose has an additional 8 feet in length over our previous trailer. That means an additional 544 cubic-feet we can pack full of Pontiac parts and accessories. With that extra room, we've decided to add our entire stock of decals (which we've previously left in our warehouse), more original GM parts, more reproductions parts and a lot more Pontiac books and accessories to our show trailer stock. The larger trailer should also make it easier for us to deliver pre-placed orders that customers can pickup at the shows we attend.     We've also updated the storage in the new trailer over the previous trailers setup. It should now be easier for customers who browse our spaces at the shows to find the products they want. We now have clearly marked labels telling customers what is in each bin and the bins are organized in order by part number.     We designed all new graphics for our new show trailer! We wanted to include graphic elements from the Pontiac models that we carry parts for and also advertise all of the great manufacturer’s products that we carry. Last fall, we were able to get three of our customers to bring their cars in for a photo shoot. Rick Hediger brought his green Judge, Ed Lugg brought his white GTO and MaryAnn Grey brought her blue Firebird. The pictures from that photo shoot were added to both sides of the trailer design.
