Gasket tri-power vs single 2bbl carb

I have a 1966 single 2bbl 389 325hp engine and I need only the gasket inside the carb. Now I see on rockauto this rebuild kit for the tri-power setup with the description:
Rochester, 2BBL, Model 2GC; Center carb on three carb engines.
Rochester, 2BBL, Model 2GC; Front & Rear carb on three carb engines.
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=1350122&jsn=9

Can I use the gasket / rebuild kit of this part for my single 2bbl carb or they are completely different?
The support of Rockauto.com cannot give my a good answer of this.

What is the difference between 2g and 2gc carb?

Where else I can find a gasket or a rebuild kit for my carb?
Rockauto doesn't have it in their list.

Thanks

The "G" is a Rochester design.

The "G" may be prefixed by a "2" or "4" (2G is two-barrel, 4G is 4-barrel).

The "G" may be suffixed by a "C" or a "V" (C is integral choke, V is divorced choke)

Thus a 2G is a 2-barrel Rochester with either manual choke or no choke;
whereas a 2GC is a 2-barrel Rochester with automatic integral choke.

Neither helps you with identifying the necessary carburetor kit(s). To determine the correct kit, you need the triangular identification tag located under one of the airhorn screws (until the carb is rebuilt by a commercial carburetor rebuilder that groups many parts and carbs together under the same number, and throws away the tag so an informed buyer doesn't realize he has been sold a substitute!),

The rebuild kit for the center and end carbs on a '66 Tripower are the same. The single two barrel carb uses that same kit.

Thanks all. This helps my a lot.
The code says '69 GTO 2bbl, but from the gasket picture it looks different.
I hope it will fit.

It will fit if it's for the large 2GC.

The carb has follow outside dimensions: 4.69 by 4.41 inches without screwholes.

There are only two sizes of Rochester 2G carbs. Yours is the large one. The smaller one was used as the center carb on Tripowers 'til 1966 and on some economy single 2 bbl. Pontiac engines in the mid '60's.

If your gaskets don't fit your carb, let me know and I'll send you some that do.

Thanks Dick!
I will let you know if the gasket doesn't fit.

The gasket fits good.
Thanks all
