I've never met him, never talked to him, don't know any of his family or neighbors, BUT!

Couldn’t agree more! John didn’t know me from Adam and he took the time to talk on the phone in depth about building a Carter dual quad clone set-up. And then he wrote a 2 part in depth article for Smoke Signals including photos about the same subject. John is a true gentleman and a huge asset to the hobby. Thanks John!
