Holden/Euro Spoiler
Figured i would help a few people out. Some are the edge of buying this spoiler and not sure how the installation is. This is what i put together so hope it helps.
Since 5 holes have to filled on the trunk lid itself i purchased another trunk lid for this reason. I stripped it down and removed the stock g8 spoiler "which was a pain in the a$$". You can get the spoiler here. http://www.pfyc.com/pc/G81029/G8EXT/...8+Spoiler.html Parts from PFYC http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...psc40ae7bc.jpg After spoiler is removed you will find these holes that will need to be filled in. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps95a334e1.jpg 2 new holes will need to be drilled 1 on each side. I used a 5/16" drill bit and drilled out the existing hole to help with bolt alignment. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps57197a2f.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps7dec9312.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps785c31a4.jpg On the bottom side of the trunk lid you will see a hole that was filled originally. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps1da82ab3.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps7da490b6.jpg New bolts in with spoiler http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps4a55d27d.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps9abcdef9.jpg Test fit and tighten down. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...psbf991114.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps0e344b73.jpg After complete The Holden/Euro Spoiler from PFYC. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...pse0f9b051.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps0c87d8c2.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps78d9c9e8.jpg |
