15 seconds of fame (almost)
 

My local bar tenders band got picked up on a record deal and their first video was released today. May not be to everyone’s taste but I like it. Has a hard 2001-2002 feel.

When they filmed it he asked to borrow some cars for them to roll up in so we took my GTO’s and my neighbors Vette. It was fun to help him out and get to watch these kids live out their dream.

It’s only the first few seconds of the clip- but it adds to the video. So they didn’t get 15 minutes, or really even 15 seconds of fame but it was fun. They want the Trans Ams for the next video so we will see what that looks like.

Bartended for 40 years, bands two nights a week most of that time, and they are still doing music two nights a week a couple years since I left.

That band is better than easily 99% of the acts we had (mostly local acts, lots of "alternative" stuff, lots of metal) Sounds like they have a future to me.

I'm the bartender that never had a band ... still play almost an hour a day on average .. would love to play out before I'm too old to stand up :)

Well it has a melody.. almost. I am betting men will like this way more than women. Cars looked great, but Dark.

I didn’t know what to expect- didn’t know if it was going to be a 12 yr old with an iPhone or a real production. There was only one guy filming but he has this crazy expensive camera. It was nowhere near that dark when they were filming.

Nice...reminds me of Linkin Park and maybe a little Hoobastank.

The lead singer that got out of the vette is my buddy. He wanted to drive the GTO but he was the only one that could drive stick so he had to drive the vette
