1956 Pontiac coil springs

New guy here, been reading, great info on the site. Someone has heated the coils on my wagon. I know you can buy them new in stock height,2” drop and 3”drop. Does someone have a measurement from center of spindle up to the wheel opening on a complete stock car? I have no reference to decide what springs to purchase.
