Donated cars from Norwood '72 strike

This may have been covered before.

Wondering if anyone here ever remembers working on any of the 40 cars that were donated to vo-tech schools in 72-73 when the auto strike at Norwood prevented 1100 cars from being finished. I'd love to hear if you did.

Never worked on a 1972, but I attended the Auto Tech program at De Anza College in Cupertino California in the late 70's, and they had a 75 or 76 Trans AM there that had been donated. As I recall, it had been damaged in transit (I heard it fell off a train).

I went to Aiken HS in Cincinnati and took auto mechanics in the vocational program. The auto shop had a 72 Camaro and so did the body shop. They were donated from GM.

One of the "County" high school auto shops in my area had a new 77 or 78 SE TA donated that was damaged in transport going under a low bridge on a transport truck.
They sold it about 20 years later.

The surviving McQ Brewster Green 73 TA was donated to a vocational school.
They sold it about 10-15 years later ....iirc
