WTB Verdoro Green GTO
Hey I'm looking to buy a Verdoro green GTO. Looking for a ready to run reliable solid driver.
must have: - complete ready to run car. daily driver reliable - rust free - 68-70 model year OK - coupe (no convertibles) prefer under 50k, but will consider slightly over if the car is worthy with proper documentation, receipts, pics, etc. currently very few out there available except for overpriced dealer cars and one or two folks who think they have gold at home hoping folks here know of some available that aren't listed publicly... I'm located in socal if it matters. thanks! |

I settled on this one as it appeared to be a fair deal for what was an original Verdoro green / black vinyl top (though it's not there now) and black interior. it has AC and hideaways which is cool. what's not cool is the lack of a clutch pedal and I'm going to change that. it's not a numbers matching car anyway and I'm not hung up on being 100% purist either. it'll need a few other things, too, including window adjustments to keep the rain out which I'll get to as soon as time permits (in the midst of building a car for my father) and yes, the green isn't the most greenest verdoro I've ever seen, it's a tad heavy in brown giving it a darker hue |
Nice score, it looks ready to enjoy

Very Nice! Congrat's!

That's a shiny object!
To me that's as iconic as it gets. When I was 16 in 1970, Verdoro green was a striking change from the pale blue Chevies that dominated the world. To this day, a 68 or 69 GTO in Verdoro says everything about the era. Congrats on finding such a nice example. Hope you have fun with it. |
Thank you, everyone! Yes, I def plan to enjoy the car
