Several people have reported getting private messages from kylelewis005456, where he directed them to contact his 'friend' offline at a gmail address who had something for sale that they were looking for. This person had just joined the board, and had no posts, so it was a classic example of a scam attempt. They've been banned. If you ever get one of these messages that looks suspicious, don't respond - report them instead, the moderators will check them out and kick them off the board if necessary.

Anyone that includes these three letters, wtb, should have their spidey senses up at all times. Raising your hand saying u have money to give often attracts unscrupulous characters.

I got the last scammer to send me his bank routing & account number. :eek:
