The Blue Streaks that are available are for "66 Shelby Mustangs (6.95-14), '65-67 Formula S Barracudas (6.95-14) and Mid Year Corvettes (7.75-15). These are street versions of Goodyear Blue Streaks. Feel free to call if you have a questions.

I grew up in a small town outside of Green Bay WI. I have very fond memories of being a kid & having multiple smalls stores on every block downtoewn. Gas stations, bakeries, electronics sales & service, appliances, hardware stores, etc. You name it. The owners of these places provided for their families, & some did very well.
Now? Nothing. It's all gone. On the edge of town there is a Large grocery Chain store, a walmart, kwik trips & thats about it. We do still have a Hardware store doing well however. He has adapted & carries stuff nobody else has, & also has a small engine shop. Its just the way things are today. When a business like Kelsey looks at the exposure & mass sales they would get from Walmart, it's hard to say no. Its great for their business, but crushes everyone else down the ladder. It's been happening for decades & sadly isn't going to stop. When it comes to money, there is no faithfulness to the small guy. :( |

Goodyear GSC 275-40/17
Anyone know if there is any thoughts of reproducing the Goodyear GSC 275-40/17 tires? I am the original owner of a 1996 Trans Am WS6 that came with those tires. Getting about time for some new tires and would love to keep the original tire style on the car.

I hope I am the one I spoke to the other night. If not, sorry for the delay as I have been away from my computer at the Buick Nats and the H/O CA meet. Currently, the hold up in tires being made in a Ultra High Performance Radial is the equipment needed to build these tires. The plant where all of the reproductions are being built does not have the capability of building low profile tires in 16 and 17" diameters. Plans are in the works for certain sizes to be introduced, but it is going to take time to get everything going. Call me with more questions or see me at POCI in Ft. Worth. |

Is this why the Eagle VR 245/50/16 haven't been considered yet? I noticed the VR 225/60/15's have been out for a while & I would have thought there would be a 245/50/16 to follow. I never realized there was a diameter restriction.

Yes..the gatorbacks are being held back because of the equipment limitations. First one that has been in the works is the C4 vette... a beautiful tire can be made, but is not good performing tire.
