Scattershield?
Can a BOP scatter shield with dual starter bulges be made to work? Depending on how much power a turbo build makes I'd feel safer with a steel bell housing instead of cast aluminum.

I thought about it in the past, but I never ran more than 300 HP and I had a stock OHC-6 bellhousing, so I never followed up on it. I think it can be made to work, but I do not think it would be a direct bolt on. I will have to compare a stock V8 & OHC-6 bell Housing to see if the starter bulge lines up? That and making sure the clutch fork pivot pin is in the same location are the only 2 issues I could see arise. But I am sure I am missing something. I usually miss at least 1 thing when thinking about these things.

FWIW:
Not cheap but we had the oil pan blanket on my buddies full race '65 and they also make trans covers; https://www.jegs.com/p/Allstar-Perfo...11819/10002/-1 |
