The Arizona Chapter #29 POCI is proud to announce our second Pontiac Night at Tucson Dragway as part of Tucson Dragway's "Street Rally" series. This event is open to anyone wishing to run their vehicle on the quarter mile.

The Street Rally event is similar to an Open Test & Tune event with one major difference: NO SLICKS ALLOWED. Drag cars are welcomed, but the main focus of the night's racing will be street cars. The track will be prepped for Grudge Races, Call-Outs, Timed Runs and fun side-by-side matchups.

If you would like to race, please know that your Pontiac must undergo the track’s typical tech inspection procedure. That "Track Pass" is priced at $40. Gates open at 4:00pm and inspection is available anytime after that.

But, even if you’re not interested in actually launching your Injun down the pavement, you’re still welcome to come out and participate in our informal Pontiac and GMC Truck display in the pits while cheering on members Dean Noun ('68 GTO) and Chris Steel ('65 GTO) plus any other Ponti-Yakkers who might want to join them at the starting line.

We hope to see additional Pontiac enthusiasts from out-of-town. Come on out and play with us!

If you just want to DISPLAY your Pontiac or GMC Truck in the pits with us, request the $15 “Pit Pass” at the main entry gate. This is a PER PERSON fee ($30 for two people, etc.) and exact cash is preferred. Please plan your arrival at the track between 6:00-7:00pm on Saturday, July 10th, and look for us there. We hope to have a designated row in the pit area dedicated solely to our group.

Racing begins at 6:00pm and goes until 10:00pm. You may stick around for as long or short as you wish. The concession stand and restrooms will be open.

Directions: Take Interstate 10 to Exit 275, head south two miles and follow the signs towards the Pima County Fairgrounds.

The Arizona Chapter #29 of the Pontiac-Oakland Club International (POCI) is the oldest continually operating Pontiac club in the State of Arizona. proudly celebrating its 40th anniversary in June of 2021. Membership is open to all owners and enthusiasts of Pontiac, Oakland and GMC Trucks (all models, all years, both stock and modified). Regular indoor dinnertime meetings will resume on the Second Wednesday of each month in July 2021. The club is based in Tucson but welcomes members from throughout the state.
