63 Power Bench Seat Rail

Just pulled a power bench from a parts car.....and have a couple of questions...

I am assuming the rail will fit my seat....same year/model...?

Also.....the tracks are typically rusty from sitting on a wet carpet..

I am thinking about a rust soak...as opposed to sand blasting...

Is there anything in the tracks that will be negatively affected by soaking?

There are two different ones I use......one is bio-degradable...and the other....is acidic..

I like Evaporust for that sort of thing. You need to clean off any grease/dirt/grime first with a solvent before soaking for it to be effective, but it won't hurt any of the seat track parts.
