1970 GTO firewall question
Anyone out there have a stock GTO that can post or send me some pictures of their firewall? I’m installing all the hoses for the windshield washer, battery cables, heater hoses etc., the restoration guide I’m using isn’t very clear and I need to know how the factory installed them.
I also need some good pictures of the radiator saddle brackets. I went with a aftermarket core support and it has multiple holes.. Thanks |

The 2 hoses for washers go right thru firewall at the holes seen right adjacent to motor assembly

I appreciate it👍🏻

Can you send me a picture of how the hose that comes from the washer bottle runs along the firewall?

You're welcome. Not sure if you have an assembly manual, but this is also called out on page 63 for the 70 model. It shows the hose coming off the pump and going under the voltage regulator (for a V8 without AC), to the top heater box plastic clip on the stud. On mine, it sits on the top of the voltage regulator, and I think it does this because of the under hood lamp switch. It also has no clips holding it to the firewall, also because of no AC, and with the under hood lamp.

I do have an assembly manual but the pages have been copied so many times they are basically unreadable and my restoration guide did do a great job of showing how it ran.
