Another Turbo Cam "What If"

How do you guys think a 114LSA Old Faithful cam would work in a twin turbo 468 With Edelbrock round ports and Fuel Injection using a Victor EFI /Elbow and 102mm LS Throttle Body?

(Old Faithful specs: 236/245 dur @ .050" lift .578"/.582" lift 114 LSA)

I would try it but that cam would probably be done before 5500 rpm.

Even in a turbocharged application? It pulls hard to 5900 in my wifes car N/A with the 112 LSA

Likewise a divider in the Log to isolate 1&5 from 3&7 (can be done)

I will ask this question however from the sounds of this the gains would be minimal... Perhaps I can get steve on line to answer this directly.

I have a very similar cam 579 lift little more duration, single turbo, rev limiter set at 6500 have bounced it off of that many times. I try and shift @ 6000 but spinning sometimes delays my shift while getting the car under control.

So, would you say it's doable? And what kind of power are you making with it?

My 462 pulls hard to over 6000 with a 224/224 114ls at 18 psi. My cam is installed straight up 114 IC.

In a naturally aspirated sense maybe, but in a turbo application it would be great with the rising torque curve of boost. More boost the more it pushes it.

The size of the cam is fine. Its the opning and closing points that are critical. What are they??

Some fella commented that a 4/7 swap cam would be good with the LogHeaders and...he may be quite right!

As if no Reversion could occur. The way an H-plane intake provides inhale isolation.
Will need to break out the flow charts to see about that.

If I had it I would try it, I can only guestimate by my MPH at the end of the 1/4 cause I spin 1st and 2nd, but at 11-12 psi I trap at 145 mph. Car is close to 4000 lbs with me in it. I would say I put down 700-800. I have not turned it up because on the street it is a waste.

I have that cam on my single turbo 468 except it’s on a 112 LSA with the 4/7 swap it pulls hard to 5800 on 12 lbs of boost ...we installed it 4 degrees advance as well ...

Thanks, I think I'm going to try it. Dave at SD
performance is doing me up a set of 95cc 325cfm Edelbrocks with T washer inserts. She should make good power.
