Vent windows

I have to have the vent windows disassembled to have the frames chromed. I have heard this is a recipe for disaster. I have the vent windows out. Should I tackle this job or pay a glass shop to do it so they are responsible?

You can ask but most shops won't accept responsibility. Try it yourself.
