Buddies 70 Formula

Been working on this 1970 Numbers car for a few years. Finally got in the resto shop after a 1.5 year wait. The car is getting its second coat of high build primer today, then will sit for a month For shrinkage. We will get just the painted shell back, then after engine and trans, will bring it back for final Assy and cut and buff. He bought a Silversport Tremec 5 speed to use with his 3.31 12 bolt. We test fitted it. Factory shifter handle..No MODS to tunnel, Factory clutch too. ( m22 clutch disc). Nothing hits the tunnel. Its a blue car and will be very nice this summer. ( truck in back is a 34 chevy)

Got the new Silversport Temec installed on the engine after some alignment checking.
Next is the high heat coated RA manifolds for the 12's. Original M-20 is rebuilt in cold storage. He is using his stock Flywheel and M22 clutch. All manual and stock clutch set up. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...6&d=1675184991 http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...7&d=1675185006 |
Looks great. I never new that a bellhousing mounting surface needed to be zero.

What is the ball park price on the Silver Sport tremec that uses the stock parts?

We had this tranny in his car for a test fit with my 1970 400 last summer. It was close, but no hitting . |
