Correct Fasteners Help!

What kind of fasteners attach the rear bumper to the core (underneath) on my 79 Trans Am? They look like push in plastic?:rain:

That's right!
Hard plastic (amber) & very difficult/tricky to remove without breaking them.
Your local bodyshop supply SHOULD have something similar in appearance that will work in stock.

They are what they look like, plastic push in.
Use to be dealer or auto body supply item, last ones I got from local auto parts.

What are they called so I know what to ask for????

I suppose it would be called a truss head push in retainer pin.
Make sure you figure out the lenth (under head) & diameter that you need.

You can order them through GM. I got them for my 79 Formula last summer. They weren't cheep. I replaced all of them in the front and back bumper covers 23 or 24 I dont remember.
