68 gto tail light sockets

Evening. I was hoping on your expertise on this one.
One of my taillight bulbs went out, so when i was about to change it the glas shattered and the socket was more or less frozen.

Upon closer inspection the other sockets were in a similar state. I found a repair for the turnsignal/brake light (2 wire, stms39) but none for the back up light.

So my question is, is there a repair one for the back up light? Been looking allover.
I've been searching for alternatives aswell, new sockets that is.

They need to be 3/4" and;
3 wire for turnsignal (2+ground)
and 2 wire for back up light (1+ground)
since bezels are fiberglas.

Haven't found any measurements or help from various tech support with the few sockets that i deem fitting.

Hope you can shed some light on this one, ive seen a few other threads with similar issues.

Take care!

Scott; Sound advise, I also think one of the culprits is the boot of the socket... spring was fine.
Dataway; Thanks for the link, they had socket brass if im going that route, restoring that is.

Thanks to the both of you

No one in favour of new sockets?

I've removed the old sockets and replaced with similiar sockets from an auto parts store. Note that the sockets have to have a dedicated ground. I used epoxy to attach them to the housing. I then bench tested the units before I put the bumper back on the car.

Yes im inclined to do the same.

Thing is i dont have a local parts store to measure out a socket, i need a parts nr or it will just be ordering and returning parts until the right one.

If I know myself right i will probably get it factory given time, but for now i just want to get it over and enjoy the car while the summer last

I did a quick online search. I found one similar to what I've used. WWW.REPAIRCONNECTOR.COM and for the part search SKU 5441 C .
