Has anyone installed an FiTech Tri-power to their '66 GTO?

I have been looking at the FiTech Tri-power Carbs for my 66 389 GTO.
It looks great.
Just wanted to see is anyone has them.
Do you need a new Intake Manifold?
Does it bolt right up?
I would like to run it on my regular 389. Nothing fancy about it.
No big cam. Stock heads
Bored out to a 400.
Basic engine

Thanks

No, but our club has installed a FiTech and a Sniper, but both were on Chevys, a 496 Chevelle and a 350 Vette. Both are performing well so far (4 years FiTech and 2 years Sniper). The Sniper had some advantages. It was less expensive, easier to install, and the support was better. Sniper doesn't require special fuel line, in fact we used hard line for most of it. At the time, FiTech didn't have a small fuel pump, so packaging in a Vette was tricky and the wiring is a bit more cluttered.

We used Edelbrock dual plane intakes.

I'm going to do this next year on my Bird, but my preference right now is the Sniper.

Will Sniper carbs bolt to original 66 intake?

No but adapter is available. I think there is a small difference in the holes in the intake vs. the throttle body.

Good, I didn't want to buy a new intake.

Fullback, I have a lot of good info on the FiTech Tripower set up. I did a ton of R&D on it, and developed a full plug and play system for Ames. Contact me
