if I recall correctly you can test it from your own profile page where you create it.
Click the 'User CP' link from any page (top left under the displayed current location you are at);
From there under the 'Your control Panel' column on the left, look for the "settings & options" group, and in that there is a "edit signature" link;
On that page, at the bottom is a "preview signature" tab - this will re-load your signature page with the signature docked at the top above the box where you are able to type it.
