Time to part with our G6... trans finally crapped-out. I drive it daily but it won't go into first gear from drive but works in manual mode. M1, then M2, then shift into drive. Once you come to a stop you need to do it all over again. Car has no visible rust anywhere on the body. Typical G6 convertible issues; one of the top sensors is bad, top goes up and down fine but you get the "top not secure" message on the radio, everything else works fine, monsoon radio, 3.9 liter has it's typical oil dribbles, has a new power steering pump, lines, evaporator solenoid, rebuilt front end via control arms, bushings, outer tie rod ends, hubs, struts, will need rear shock and springs soon, tires are pretty good, new NOS rim for front right. If you have a good tranny would be a good project. I had a stroke last fall and am limited to how much I can work on my cars. We have about $8,000 into it. I would part it out but that would be too much for me to accomplish. We'd like to get $1,500 for it. We're 45 minutes west of Chicago. I drive the car daily to Lemont. Can be viewed either location.
