Filler for plastic parts

I have a second gen S-10 Blazer and the plastic moldings around the rear side windows are pitted from sun and weather exposure. What can I use to fill the pits to prep for prime and repaint?

Before you get in it too deep, check on the price an availability of new OEM parts (if you haven't already) .. sometimes you get surprised by how affordable a part is ... most of the time you are shocked by how expensive, but you never know.

I checked, the rear side windows and the plastic trim are all made as one piece. The piece im asking about is on the rear corners between the side window and rear hatch glass. Their are vents molded into it so i gotta work with whats there.

I think regular body filler would work fine, I have used it on plastic in the past with great results.
