2017 Pypes Exhaust Musclecar & Truck Show

Once again Pypes Exhaust / Max Performance is having their 7th Annual Musclecar & Truck show on June 16th & 17th.

This is a 2 day event. On Friday, we have an afternoon cruise-in atmosphere for the early-birds that want to "bench-race" with friends, then we have a casual cruise thru the historic Lansdale & Hatfield boroughs, then end up back at the facility for some great food. The food is free to all that participate on Friday. We ask that our Forums members help us out by bringing some side dishes to the evenings festivities. Please post what you at bringing because we do not want to "load-up" on one item. Saturday the show starts at 8:30 and usually gets over by 4ish. We have 3 shows going on at once... an ALL Pontiac show (including the GTOAA East Coast Regionals), a Mustang show and an American Musclecar & truck show. We also have a free cruise-in section where people can come in and park for an hour and not commit to the show entrance fee (donations for ALS are appreciated). So come, cruise, have fun, eat well and enjoy the day..!

If you have attended our show before, you know that the Susquehanna Valley GTO club is a huge help. Make sure you say Hi and thank you when you see them.

Ames Performance is attending this year and will be one of our major sponsors. They are bringing their monster trailer full of Pontiac parts, so make sure you place your order before-hand and pick it up.

Proceeds benefit ALS of Philadelphia. For info or register online go to http://pypesexhaust.com/p-24066-carshow.html

We just got confirmation that our neighbor - Alderfer Auction Co. http://www.alderferauction.com/ is having a HUGE auction the day we are having our show. In the morning, they are having a parts auction for all automobile related items, starting at 9am and should last until noon, then around 1pm they are having a car auction. Being this only happened yesterday, we do not have any details of what parts and cars they are selling. Please visit their web site for more details or watch for posts by me. Thanks... Gp Mike

HEY Pontiac fans... We've been getting a steady stream of pre-registrations in for our Pypes show. Now that the show seasons has started, we are going to local cruises and handing out flyers. Your local GTO or POCI clubs will be getting our flyers next week so be sure to ask them for one. Being Ames Performance is coming this year, they have been inserting our flyers in each of the orders in the region, so you might have already received this flyer. Make sure you pre-register before the June 5th cutoff so I can plan the show field accordingly. Click here to go to the registration page... https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2017-py...ts-30815925262

I've been working on restoring a 1969 Firebird since the beginning of 2014 and I'm hoping to bring her to the show in some form... Here's a couple of before (when I brought her home) and current pics...

Great show that is very well run, can't wait!

mrgto69 04-28-2017 12:04 PM

Don't forget... Ames is coming down to support our show... If you missed them at Carlisle and Englishtown, now's the time to place an order with them and pick it up at our show... essentially free shipping... You can't beat that..!

How many of you Pontiac fans heard the 8th Trans Am convertible was found??? It has been restored and will be here for our show. Come see a piece of history...!

I just got the email indicating three of the featured cars, one of which is a 1973 SD Formula. You indicated it's 1 of 10 produced so I assume it's a four-speed. What color is it?

Are you interested in having another one (an automatic, 1 of 33)?

:-) http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=736345

(I was going to bring my Gramma's 1975 Firebird but if you are having a display I'd be happy to bring the 73 instead. I don't really show it since it is a 100% survivor car and can't really compete with restored examples.)

You can PM if needed.

Steve, we'd love to have you bring that car. We can put it with the other three. Do you have a show board for it? It doesnt' have to be fancy. Just something to tell viewers what they are looking at.

Yes. I have a board with a details and documents that I used when it was Vintage Certified as "Time Capsule" at MCACN last year. Here's a shot of it next next to the original owners Enrico and Lenora Stein as they reunited with the car for their 50th wedding anniversary.

Steve that is very cool........

mrgto69 05-15-2017 03:03 PM

Did you know our show is going to have some amazing featured cars... So far we are going to have the last found (and by the way been "lost" until now ) 69 T/A convertible with a super rare 1968 FB convertible Ram Air II. Besides these two super rare cars, we are also having a rare 73 SD Formula, TWO 74 SD Formula's (yes TWO), one 69 Trans Am hardtop and a super rare 1972 Grand Prix Hurst SSJ (very last one made). You gotta check these cars out and speak the owners.

Ccass 05-15-2017 05:56 PM

Guys, this is the year that the show should be even bigger and better than the last 6 very successful versions. Please spread the word. Remember, it's not just the Pontiac show. We want the Musclecar and Ford show to grow as well but don't get jealous! You know I will always make the Pontiacs the center of attention. :)

If you guys want an permanent ANNUAL event in mid June, you better all talk this event up now. We expect full participation and your help!

Tell your non Pontiac car buddies. Don't just 'like but 'Share' the promos you'll probably be seeing on Face book in the next 2 weeks.

If I can get her out of the barn & spiffed up a little I think I'll bring Lucy. Need to get the Wide Ovals mounted on the NOS Honeycombs and get that set of stripes ordered pronto!
