INJUN WARS 2022 Sept 16-17-18 Bunker Hill Dragstrip (Indiana)
 

This year INJUN WARS will be at Bunker Hill Dragstrip in Bunker Hill Indiana. September 16th, 17th and 18th.
Friday the 16th will be a Test N Tune, Grudge Racing Fun Time with All makes and models welcome.
Saturday the 17th is the 5th Annual INJUN WARS Pontiac Drag Race & Open Car Show. Pontiac bodied or powered drag cars only and all makes and models welcome in the Open car show.
Sunday is our Inaugural Pontiac vs The World Drag Race. Bring your Chevy, Mopar, Buick, Olds, Cadillac even IMPORTS and take on our awesome Pontiacs!

PAYOUTS for INJUN WARS 2022.
We want YOU the racers, to have a Payout worth traveling for and a race that doesn't cost you a weeks wages to participate in. We are making changes to keep INJUN WARS a fun, stress free PONTIAC EVENT that is not designed to make us money, but also not designed to bankrupt us either.
HERE'S THE PLAN:
Race Entry for ALL Classes is $50. $20 of that $50 goes directly into your Class Payout. Example: 100 Cars enter Super Pro/Top ET. $20 per entry goes to the Payout for that Class so $20 X 100 = $2000. Payout will be $1500 (75%) Winner/$500 (25%) Runner Up.
It's possible that Pro/Mod or Sportsman/Street could have a higher car count and therefore could have a higher payout.
THE MORE RACERS IN YOUR CLASS, THE HIGHER THE PAYOUT!
HOW CAN YOU HELP INCREASE YOUR PAYOUTS? INVITE MORE RACERS TO JOIN THE FUN. MORE CARS = MORE CA$H!
Post about INJUN WARS on your page and the pages you visit. Challenge others to attend and ask them to invite their friends. This really is your race, car show, swap meet and all around good time so SHARE IT and MAKE IT YOURS and reap the rewards.
SECOND CHANCE RACE
If you make the journey to INJUN WARS and happen to go out in the First Round, your weekend is NOT OVER. You and all the other First Round Runner Ups can enter the Second Chance Race for a $25 Entry ($20 per entry per Class Payout) and you get to keep racing!
PONTIAC -vs- The World
Additionally, on Sunday we will be holding the Inaugural PONTIAC -vs- The World Drag Race so you can stick around and start again on Sunday racing your Pontiac against all comers with the same classes and entry/payout structure.

Gambler's & Last Chance Race
 

We've added a Friday Night Gambler's Race and a Saturday Last Chance Race to the event!

So during Friday Night's Test n Tune if you're feeling lucky, $25 gets you into the Gambler's Race. Draw a Poker Chip and see who you're racing. Run till we're done and split 100% of the $25 entry fees 75% Winner and 25% Runner up.

If you happen to become a First Round Runner Up in the regular INJUN WARS Race, you still have the 2nd Chance Race and if you're victorious there, you move on to the no additional charge, Last Chance Race and Race the Winner of the Regular Race for your share of the pot. 40% to Top/S-Pro, 40% to Mod/Pro and 20% to Street/Sportsman.

Don Johnston of DCI Motorsports put up $500 to get the Last Chance Race Party started and we challenge all Pontiac Suppliers, Vendors, etc., to step up and match it. All donations are paid 100% to the winning racers!
