A friend of mine in Lewistown MT owns and built this car, it is a high quality built car that has won many trophys, and runs and drives just as good as it looks:cool:

Are there that many 'experts' out there that install that horrible air cleaner decal OR the chrome tips up side down OR stick on 'judge' plates on the glovebox door in the wrong locations? Good Lord.. The 71 is the only one I liked

Lot 779 GTO with Judge appearance package

Pro-Touring 1969 Pontiac GTO. Looks like a Judge but was not originally. Complete ground-up, body-off restoration. Professionally built 467cid engine. It is extremely strong. It has a Centerforce clutch hooked to a Keisler "Perfect Fit" Tremec TKO 600 transmission. The rear end is a Strange S60 with Eaton Tru-Trac, 3.73 gears and 35 spline axles. It is held in with Edelbrock (lower) and QA-1 (upper) tubular control arms. The brakes are Wilwood 12.88" discs on all four corners with billet Superlite 6-piston front and billet Superlite 4-piston calipers on the rear. All of the brake/fuel lines are stainless tube. The front suspension consists of Global West's Negative Roll upper and lower A-arms, QA1 coil over shocks and 2" drop 79-81 Firebird/Camaro spindles. The frame rails have been boxed for added stiffness. The wheels are American Racing Torq-Thrust II with BFG KDW-2 tires. In the interior the dash is restored with silver faced gauges and brushed aluminum insert. All of the plastic parts (vents and bezels) are new. Pedals are aluminum. The steering wheel is a LeCarra Pontiac Formula wheel. The front seats are Corbeau reclining buckets covered in leather to mimick the original '69 GTO pattern. It has an Alpine CD player with a JL Audio HD 900-5 amp hooked to MB Quart 5 1/4 and 6x9 speakers and a 12w3v3 sub. The entire car was disassembled, stripped to bare metal and any rust was cut out and replaced with new metal. The body was smoothed and painted using Sikkens Polysurfacer, Colorbuild, Autobase Plus base coat and Autoclear III clear coat.

Looks like a killer car for any enthusiast. Well built with fine workmanship. Goes over the block THURSDAY 1/16/14.

no kidding. It's a shame a true Pontiac expert would have to re-do some of the aspects of these cars to make them correct. Still some nice cars though. I did not see any funky air cleaner decals on the 4 Judges selling Thursday, maybe the Friday ones have the decal.

Last of 4 Judges selling THURSDAY Jan 16, 2014!

There are another 4 Judges selling on Friday Jan 17, 2014.

Jack Ferris 01-16-2014 09:43 PM

A NOM Judge just sold for 100,000

red1975pacer 01-16-2014 09:50 PM

Was that lot 852?

Jack Ferris 01-16-2014 09:51 PM

No 821

Jack Ferris 01-16-2014 09:53 PM

825 just sold for 70

red1975pacer 01-16-2014 09:57 PM

825 has a screwed up fender bumper gap when compared to the workmanship of 821

Jack Ferris 01-16-2014 10:05 PM

None if them are perfect.

GTO JOHN 01-16-2014 10:06 PM

I think 825 was well bought.

red1975pacer 01-16-2014 10:39 PM

852 seems to look the best under the hood. Anybody want to guess about what it may bring? Only thing that distracts seems to be wrong shade on master cylinder

Jack Ferris 01-16-2014 10:54 PM

Likely less than the one that sold before it.

GTO JOHN 01-16-2014 11:40 PM

Wow 852 went for $100K and no wheelwell trim.
