i'm stumped. why does it only have one metering plate? Never seen that before...but then again..there is alot I haven't seen before.

LOTs of holleys only have one jet block,the others use a plate.

I dunno. Maybe some sort of OEM truck carb?

It Appears to be a part # 0-1850

I agree with jagjr. The size of the throttle bores as opposed to the gasket holes gives it away. Good carb for small engines like a 350 or a mild 400.

I think I have a couple of those at home, I'll check the numbers on them. I ran one on a mild 400 and it really did perform well. The 1407 Edelbrock 750 I replaced it with hasn't impressed me yet. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...icon_frown.gif

Since it has manual choke with plastic linkage and accelerator pump arm I'm 99% sure it is a 0-1850-3 or 4. It is the least expensive Holley 600 universal carb. The biggest problem with these is that it has a very fat idle circuit, they will generally run rich at idle. If you know your way around a Holley, pick up a renew kit or a trick kit, and a new vacuum secondary diaphram and have at it! (An assortment of secondary springs and a quick change kit wouldn't hurt!)

Most likely 600-650 cfm emmisions calibrated carb (due to plastic appearing parts). Obviously corroded and burnt. Parts to rebuild and dial in (rebuild kit,Vac secondary spring kit,50cc pump,etc) probably would be atleast $200- so go buy a new carb and don`t feel bad.
