Hi all, 67 GTO turn signals a couple weeks ago were very, very slow. One would blink then a few seconds later another blink then quite. Last night, hit turn signals and nothing. Can hear one blink under the dash each time I hit the lever on. Blink sounds coming from switch area. I think the switch is bad, but want your opinion before I buy a new one. Hazard lights are working fine so I think the wiring is ok.

I had a problem with my turn signals. One would flash ok the other would flash only every other time I used it. We replaced the Flasher module on the fuse block. Worked great!

Directional signals will slow down if one or more of the filaments in the bulbs have burned out. Since you say the hazards are working fine, the bulbs are probably ok. The directionals and hazards use different flashers, so I would first replace the directional flasher. If you still have a problem, the directional signal switch would be the next thing to check.

I looked up the flasher in APE and they show the flasher as the same "Turn signal and Hazard Light Flasher". Am I correct that this is located on the corner of the fuse block?

Prior to the advent of 4-way flashers these cars just had one flasher mounted on the fusebox. On cars equipped with 4-ways there is one flasher mounted on the fuse box for the 4-way and another mounted under the dash near the cigarette lighter, etc. for the directional signals. Sounds like this flasher is the culprit.
