I finished my install an am very happy with it. had to modify the tail pypes to get them to fit high enough. xbrace was shimed 1-in in front and 1/2 in in middle plus a small cut out in middle. Doug's , x pipe , chrome tips. tail pipes cut off on straight after mufflers one side flared out and sliped back together.

That's a real nice job installing the system. I like how you cut the tail pipes after the mufflers to get things to hang tighter. That looks like the way to do it for max ground clearance.

what kind of mufflers are those?

Sorry for the late reply I dislocated my shoulder. the mufflers are the ones PY is selling as thier own brand ,all welded,at first sound of the system seemed to be a little raspy but as it gets more time it is sounding more mellow. thanks for the replys.

that's the highest installation on an F body I have seen! Impressive!

Ccass,
I think the key is he shortened the tail pipes. I might try and to that to mine to get it tucked up tighter at some point. Maybe a revision to the tail pipes is needed for the kit. |
