I am doing a frame off resto on a 65 pontiac Lemans. Just trying to find the book or books with the best info on taking apart the car and puting it back together as this will be very valuable in reassembly. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to PY! The GTO Restoration Guide by Paul Zazzarine(sp?) is your best book source, besides a factory service manual. The internet is now probably the best way to find info, here or at one of the other Pontiac-specific sites.

There are a couple of books that can help a lot. The Pontiac Restoration Guide as mentioned, " How to Restore your Muscle Car by Greg Donahue and Paul Zazarine, and the 67 assembly guide. While not for a 65 many of the pages are still very similar to 65 and I found them quite helpful. Most important take lots of pictures on disassembly they will be your best guide for reassembly. Here is a URL to many of the pictures of my first 65 restoration.

The best information you can use is getting detailed pictures of everything before you take it apart. Organize and label EVERYTHING you take apart, even the obvious.
