The flames are ghost flames. If you look at it in different areas, they turn the same color of the car and you cant even see them. But if you walk around the car then they will turn a purplish color. Then if you are right in front of the car with the sun hitting the hood, they are gold. You really have to see it in person to get the real effect.

I like the paint, but under the hood http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...n_confused.gif Kinda well nevermind, Guess I like a true pontiac. But it looks ok and it is your car.... http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...icon_frown.gif

Mr-Bratt.

I know where you are coming from. It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do. But I look at it this way. I will never sell the car. It was my first muscle car and I have always been a chevy guy. But I love the look of the Firebird. So I figured I would just put them both together and have everything that I have always wanted. SO anyway, I know where you are coming from. But you can't complain about the sound that a Chevy BBC 454 puts out. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g.../icon_cool.gif http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...s/icon_eek.gif

I like it! http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...on_biggrin.gif I keep trying to think of a way to incorporate that kind of paint into my upcoming paint job. Yours looks real nice!

Can someone help me on my avator. I am trying to put one up but I can't figure it out. I have one that will fit the size but cant get it on. This is the one I want to put on.

Go to the "Test & Tune" section and ask for help. You can read over other peoples' attempts for pointers. Kurt Zimmerman helped me out but I forget how the whole thing works. I think you just edit your profile (under MyPop) and paste the URL for the picture like you did for your last post.

Mike, the flames ran me $450. I dont know how the guy did it. He is a good friend of my dads for about 40 years. I know I wont spell this right but the color of the flames is called chian to purple. I know it will be hard to pernounce that right on here but I can say it in person. LOL. You have to know how to spray it right and mix it right. It's all together when he painted them on.
