I just got this car will be a total project. Body was rustproofed new and it has hardley any rust. The underneath is a fright though. Floor pans are shot trunk is rotted just over frame rails. The rest of frame is rusty but looks solid enough to save. It is all original 400 4 speed no T-Tops. The color code was platinum exterior and camel interior. Anyone see this combo? I have never seen this before. Also the dash is gold and the steering wheel has the gold bird. This car has WS6 suspension and the gold 8 inch wheels. It is supposed to be all original but I am thinking someone put the gold items on it. I am waiting for PHS papers can not find the build sheet. Haven't dropped the gas tank yet. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a '79 400 (all '79 400's were four speeds) and no T-tops as well. Mine is coded platinum with the carmine interior. Everything inside is carmine. I am sorry to hear about the rust on yours. The 'frame' is really a 'unibody' except for the front sub-frame. Sometimes they are beyond economical repair. It will be good if yours can be repaired - good luck. Anyway, I found the build sheet for my car under the back seat. You probably looked there, but just thought I would mention it.
