There is a vacuum switch mounted on a bracket along with the ign coil. It has a hose coming from the throttle body (of the TPI plenum) to the switch and then to the EGR vlv.
The question is - there is another nipple on the switch with metal "ears", like what grabs the outside of hose, but no hose in sight. Is there a hose that goes here and if so where to? DanC ------------------------------ I'd rather be Historically Accurate than Politically Correct ! |

No Dan, this is a vent to release the vacuum once the EGR valve is shut off. Originally this tube had a foam filter on it. This probably fell off and is on the manifold somewhere, or fell on the road. You can install your own piece of foam, or filter of some sort. Ken
