I know you said wallet is emoty, but save up $365.00 and send it out to Kust Dashes in California when you do. They do and excellent job. Have had them do 3 for me so far and no problems or complaints.

I am a big fan of flexible epoxy repair - very cheap, sandable, paintable... It was a winner for me.

My 67 dash is a stuffed vinyl pad, which wouldn't work with epoxy. The stuff worked great on my 73 bird dash. What kind of dash does a 69 have?

Squid, the pad appears to be vinlye over hard foam?Where do you get that type of epoxy??

It's made by Au-Ve-Co, part #1003. It works well on the semi-rigid 2nd gen plastic padded dash, as well as the 2nd gen center console (a vinyl covering over hard rigid plastic). The stuff hardens up like the rubber on the sole of a tennis shoe (flexible, yet semi-rigid). Au-Ve-Co only sells through approved distributors, and does not sell direct. I got it at my local auto paint supply store, so I imagine that a local auto paint supply store near you might also carry it.

By your description of the dash pad, it sounds similar to a 2nd gen dash. I personally have never had the pleasure of feeling up a 69 dash, so I can't say with absolute certainty. But if your 69 is like the 2nd gen padded dash, it should work.

Thanks Dude,I think they are the same will give it a shot, considering a new pad is around 360.00 and there are only three cracks, hope it works.....
