TATA79 10-16-2003 09:21 AM

I have a 79 TATA with a 403, I disconnected my electric choke a long time ago, and hooked up a manual one. I'm having trouble though, it seems that my "fast idle cam" is sticking and staying on, so sometimes my rpm will rise at the lights, and I have no definite way of dropping them, can someone give me some ideas please.

Thanks david

I had the same problem with mine and I hosed the fast idle cam and linkage with carb cleaner then worked it back and forth and it seemed to work for mine.

If I have too live life on my knees I'd rather die on my feet.
