How many designs are there of these hoods? I know that the RA and non-RA hoods are differant but I think I have a third style. All the hoods that I have seen have round holes in the bracing that give access to the fasteners for the hood ornaments. The one I have just removed from my '70 does not have these holes. The bracing has been deleted further back than even a RA hood. The hood is unaltered and original to the non-RA car. I'll get some pics up in a couple of days. Anyone else seen this?

As far as I know all 68-70 hoods were exactly the same. No difference on RA hoods.

The ram air hoods are definitely different from the standard GTO hoods. I'm helping a friend put a 69 Ram IV GTO back together that was flooded a few years ago after a hurricane came through. He had his car repainted, and when it was media blasted, there was rust at the rear corners. He got one of my spare hoods, and we found that his ram air system wouldn't fit. In order to make it fit, some of teh bracing had to be cut out of the hood.

I'm under the impression that the 68 bracing is different from the rest as well. I've got a couple of them (non RA) but haven't bothered to compare them.
