hoods OK, but it also needs the damn grill pushed back, that is the worst part of the car in my opinion, I just hate that, I really hope the 05's have the autoX front.

and the rear shot, without the wing and nice rims, cool. i don't like the pinstripe on the side from what i can see. but i repeat the hood scoops kick ASS!!! |
ok this is what would do -

Need to see it painted but I like it, not sure about the wider center treatment... Every time I see new rims, I like the stock rims better, they just need to be 18's and chrome.

Hmmm... I disagree with that Goathead. I see nothing ricer about the car. The wheels? Those are some big tires out back and tall 27". I really think with the hood scoop on the hood and those wheels, plus no spoiler really would give it a more "retro" GTO look. Plus the removal of the rear spoiler makes the car look longer IMO.

I love the 68-70 styled hood!! I would want the washboard section wider, but that's just my preference.
I wish Pontiac would just use the Monaro's 18" wheels (they look just like modern Rally II's- really a sweet looking rim), and it's rear spoiler. The spoiler is sooooo much cleaner looking than what Pontiac tacked on it. At this point, gimme that hood, an Autocross Front end, ditch the 5.7 emblem on the trunk, put the GTO emblem on the RIGHT side of the trunk, M6, black interior, and Barbadous (I don't know the sp?? You know the color, light blue). I've been talking my wife's ear off on this. I realllllyyyy want a new GTO w/ this combo!! |
